Responsibilities We are searching for Data Engineer with both Azure and python experience who learns quickly and thrives in a fast-paced, innovative environment. The role is to help empower a global technology focused Product Validation team to reliably collect data and deliver product performance insights in the customer use case through the creative use of data. You will be heavily involved in building a powerful data platform to provide real data driven value to the Precision Technology group. Work with teams generating and consuming data to understand the purpose, application, valid states, and interoperability of data needs. - Identify needs and develop infrastructure to satisfy the data pipeline for consuming data that retains target uptime.
- Develop data processors to validate data entering the pipeline before it's consumed by end users.
- May maintain and extend Data Governance and Data catalogs as appropriate.
- Isolate unhealthy data to retain data catalog health.
- Develop and extend tools to aid in the discovery and reporting of data for system and end user insight.
- May generate transformed data exports to support other teams.
- Aid in tracking data utilization to shape enhancements to the Data Catalog.
- Keep abreast of new developments in the domains of cloud computing and data science.
- Demonstrates support for company culture in their daily actions.
- Maintain a clean and safe work area. Follow established safety and ergonomic standards.
- May be called upon to perform comparable duties of a similar or related nature and/or assist in other areas as needed.
- Learning, understanding, continuously improving, and promoting the quality management system in accordance with ISO standards.This position pays: $88,000-$110,000 plus any applicable bonus (Actual salaries will vary and will be based on various factors, such as skill, experience and qualification for the role.) #LI-Remote
Qualifications - Engineer with 2+ years of career experience, with Bachelors' degree. 1+ years' experience with Master's degree. Or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Experience with Cloud Computing (Amazon Web Services or Microsoft Azure).
- Experience writing software to develop efficient pipeline processors using python.Preferred Qualifications:
