Fathom holds ISO 9001 and AS9100 Rev D certifications and is ITAR registered. Key Responsibilities: - Offline CNC programming for 3-5 axis mills. 2D and 3D surface milling is required
- Offline CNC programming for Lathes
- Support shop floor setups and knowledge transfer
- Create documentation for the shop floor including tooling lists and setup sheets
- Document standard machining and CNC setup practices
- Design work-holding fixtures
- Translate CAD files
- Monitor and inspect parts throughout process.
- Maintain clean and safe working environment.
- Observe MCT quality and safety procedures.
- May provide training to other team members.
- Communicates and collaborates with team members in the sharing of information and solving technical issues Qualifications/Requirements:
- High School Diploma or General Education (GED) required.
- 3 years minimum experience in CNC programming
- Demonstrated ability to program using CAD/CAM software, Mastercam
- The ability to read blueprints and execute shop math.
- Complete work in an accurate and timely manner.
- Ability to work weekends and overtime as required.
- Proficient understanding of G-code
- Proficient understanding of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong work ethic and high attention to detail
- Flexible, ability to work in a fast-paced team environment
- Able to manage sensitive and sometimes confidential information
- Self-motivated and able to take responsibility
