- Location: Milwaukee, WIAt least 2 years lactation or maternal/newborn nursing experience. CLC or equivalent required, IBCLC preferred. Must be willing to complete IBCLC certification within two certification offerings.

Responsibilities Provide lactation care and instruction to breastfeeding mothers and infants. Serve as a -lactation-related clinical resource, educator, and mentor. - Perform initial and on-going assessments of patients' lactation goals and issues.
- Instruct and -demonstrate proper techniques and promote the importance of breastfeeding. -
- Identify the need for standard patient teaching plans and assist with their development.
- Act as a liaison to staff and physicians when addressing needs associated with breastfeeding. -
- Contribute to the development of data tools to monitor and improve outcomes.
Requirements Licensure/Certification/Registration: - Registered Nurse credentialed from the Wisconsin Board of Nursing obtained prior to hire date or job -transfer date required. Licensure from the Wisconsin Board of Nursing OR current home state license if -considered multi-state/Compact State.
- BLS Provider credentialed from the American Heart Association (AHA) preferred.
- Certification specializing in Neonatal Resuscitation credentialed from the American Heart Association (AHA) preferred.
- Certification specializing in The S.T.A.B.L.E Program credentialed from the S.T.A.B.L.E. Program preferred.
- Certification specializing in Lactation preferred.Education:
