5%+JOB SUMMARY: The Marketing Associate will be responsible for consumer marketing for Bake Believe, our brand of no-sugar-added chocolate that is among the Top 10 in the baking category, and the creation and marketing of new consumer brands. They will also contribute to marketing of Clasen Quality Chocolate to a business audience. The Marketing Associateis responsible for brand building and sales generating activity. The scope of work involves a wide range of responsibilities, from digital marketing and advertising to package design to selling through online retailers and advertising in store. The Associate will be part of a retail sales and marketing team and will be accountable for driving results on their own and through others. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESinclude the following. Other duties may be assigned.Organize and maintain all brand assets.Manage marketing budget.Manage digital marketing programs, including display ads, social media, websites, search, affiliate marketing, retailer advertising and more.Provide direction to external agencies where needed to get great work done on time and on budget.Manage e-commerce business, including using promotions, pricing, and product mix to generate sales and managing vendor who fulfills orders. Manage external content creators and publish content updates to WordPress websites.Coordinate retailer-specific marketing plans, including product sampling, couponing, signage, and digital programs.Develop sales and marketing materials, including sales presentations, sell sheets and booth displays for tradeshows.Develop and/or update packaging art in partnership with external design agency.Collect and analyze performance data to identify lessons learned and make recommendations for improvements to all brand marketing and e-commerce activities.Support other marketing initiatives as needed.Travel to other CQC facilities, tradeshows, customers, and/or training.Perform all tasks assigned by the supervisor, while following all company, safety, and quality policies and procedures.Maintain regular attendance at work, and work overtime as neededQUALIFICATIONS:EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE:Minimum of 2 years of relevant work experience (brand marketing, digital advertising, social media, ecommerce) required.Bachelor s Degree preferred.Experience with Consumer Packaged Goods preferred.Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and OutlookPreferred basic knowledge of WordPress, CMS, Google AdWords, Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, Amazon s Vendor Central, ShipStation and WooCommerce.Design experience and familiarity with design software a plus.Able to work two days a week in Madison, WI corporate office.Must have acceptable driving record and valid driver s licenseSKILLS AND ABILITIES:Consumer focusedDetail oriented, organizedSolid analytical skillsSelf-starter with strong drive for results that has a strong sense of ownership of their workDesire to continuously learn new skills to meet evolving needs of the businessEager to make an impact by working hard and supporting the teamStrong communication skills, both verbal and written, with internal and external stakeholders.CQC is an Equal Opportunity / Affirmative Action Employer.
