( Summary The purpose of the Human Resources Coordinator II role is to provide HR and administrative support to the Leave Team. Also to ensure there is a local compliance to policies, guidelines & HR practices. This role will be responsible for full time administrative duties in support of the Leave of Absence team. The fixed schedule for this hourly role is 8:00 am to 4:30 PM Eastern Time. Bilingual English/Spanish a plus REMOTE work from HOME Must be able to work EST Hours Essential Functions - Managing a full caseload 100+ cases at a time for employees being cleared to Return to work. This includes ensuring that company policies around medical clearance and drug testing are followed, communicating with the employee and manager throughout the process.
- Providing full time phone operator support to the department. Answering incoming calls to our phone queue related to leave requests, conducting intakes for new requests, answering general questions related to leave, and collaborating with the Leave Specialists on advanced questions.
- Completing forms for employees related to their insurance, State leaves and disability plans. The forms are sent to us by the employee, we edit them as PDF files and input the company information and send the form back to the employee.
- Monitoring incoming faxes and placing documents into cases
- ServiceNow and Workday experience helpful Coordinate the return to work process in conjunction with STD, LTD, Worker's compensation
- Run and create Ad-Hoc reports (turnover, attrition, etc.)
- Responsible for delivering packages to UPS location weekly
