At Clean Harbors, a leader in environmental and industrial services across North America, we are seeking a dedicated CDL A / B Driver / Equipment Operator to join our transportation team. This role is critical in supporting our mission to ensure the safe and efficient transportation and handling of hazardous materials, while adhering to regulatory compliance and company policies aimed at protecting the environment. The ideal candidate will be instrumental in our efforts to provide emergency spill responses and industrial waste management solutions. Operate Class A or B vehicles safely, ensuring timely transport and delivery of hazardous and non-hazardous materials. Perform pre- and post-trip inspections of equipment, reporting any safety issues or concerns. Assist in loading and securing materials onto vehicles according to company guidelines to prevent accidents and ensure safe transport. Coordinate with logistics and dispatch teams to manage routes and delivery schedules efficiently. Comply with all federal, state, and local regulations as well as company policies and procedures relating to safety, hazardous materials transportation, and environmental protection. Participate in and complete all required safety trainings and drills. Provide excellent customer service, maintaining professionalism in all interactions with clients and the public. Prepare and maintain detailed transportation and operation logs. Proven ability to operate CDL Class A or B vehicles. Strong understanding of DOT regulations and hazardous materials handling. Excellent navigation and route management abilities. Physical fitness and ability to handle physical workload. Effective communication and organizational skills.
