I. Job Summary This senior level analyst position is recognized as having business expertise and sought as a resource for resolution of unique or complex problems related to payroll systems and processes. Undertakes highly complex projects requiring additional specialized business knowledge and decision making that will influence others across the organization. II. Essential Duties and Responsibilities To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Other duties may be assigned. -
Works with management, and individual team leaders by contributing strategic vison and integrating a broad range of ideas regarding business solutions development. -
Contributes high level expertise in business processes and systems analysis while considering the business implications to the current and future business environment. -
Partners with the team to understand design decisions based on documented requirements, current configuration, and downstream impacts. -
Collaborate with stakeholders and business users to gather requirements and assess needs for Oracle HCM system enhancements and configurations. -
Provide end-user support and troubleshooting for Oracle HCM system issues, including user inquiries, data discrepancies, and system errors. -
Conduct system audits and data analysis to ensure accuracy, compliance, and data integrity within the Oracle HCM environment. -
Develop and maintain documentation, training materials, and user guides for Oracle HCM system functionality and processes. -
Stay informed about Oracle HCM Cloud updates, patches, and new features, and assist in assessing their impact on existing configurations and processes. -
Assist in the design and testing of Oracle HCM system enhancements, updates, and integrations. Performs validations related to migrations, releases, upgrades and/or patches mitigating risk/downstream impacts. Engages tech team members and/or vendors for support as necessary. -
Plans and monitors overall workflow to ensure timely completion of projects. III. Supervisory Responsibilities -
No formal supervisory responsibilities in this position. -
Provides informal assistance such as technical guidance and/or training to coworkers. -
May lead project teams and/or plan and supervise assignments of lower-level employees. IV. Qualifications The requirements listed below are representative of the qualifications necessary to perform the job. A. Education and Experience -
Education: Bachelor's Degree (accredited), or in lieu of degree, High School Diploma or GED (accredited) and four (4) years of relevant work experience. -
Experience: Five (5) years of previous experience in payroll processing, payroll tax, or finance (in addition to education requirement). B. Certificates, Licenses, Registrations or Other Requirements - None required.
C. Other Knowledge, Skills or Abilities Required -
3 years Oracle HCM Cloud experience -
Knowledge of system testing concepts preferred. -
Excellent Excel skills -
Excellent verbal and written communication skills -
