Growing together. - - Under general supervision, provides primary technical assistance to the Cardiology Department through the Non-Invasive Lab, providing necessary support to the physicians within established guidelines. Facilitates a smooth work and patient flow. - Primary Responsibilities: - Performs 2D, M-Mode Doppler, and exercise stress echocardiography (Treadmill and Pharmacologic) as directed by physicians
- Provides Patient Centered Care through patient education, explanation of processes, and timely test results
- Compiles timely reports which are submitted to Cardiologist for analysis and interpretation
- Maintains echocardiography equipment. Orders and stocks all echocardiography supplies
- Proficient on completing preliminary report form for placement in the Intelispace cardiovascular reporting system
- Follows all required infection control procedures
- Attends required meetings and participates in professional development
- Facilitates and Maintains interdepartmental professionalism and communication

Required Qualifications: - High school diploma, GED or equivalent experience
- Completion of a formal accredited Ultrasound training program
- Meets the requirements for registry by ARDMS (American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers) in adult Echo and Stress Echo
- Registry with the ARDMS in Adult Echocardiography within one year of employment if not registered
- Basic Life Support for Healthcare providers (AHA) or CPR/AED for the Professional Rescuer (American Red Cross) -
