What you'll do in your role. - Cultivate strong relationships with clients and their teams to foster trust, collaboration and alignment between business objectives and legal considerations
- Develop a deep understanding of clients' operations, goals and challenges
- Proactively identify potential risks within the business and collaborate on strategies to mitigate or eliminate such issues
- Review, draft and negotiate various legal documents, including contracts and related materials, particularly in purchasing and sourcing, logistics, transportation, professional services, device insurance and technology
- Address and resolve a variety of unexpected and unique business concerns raised by clients, providing thoughtful and effective solutions
- Offer valuable insights and contributions to the drafting of legal templates and clauses
- Develop and deliver presentations and training sessions for clients and colleagues
- Collaborate with cross-team legal colleagues and other internal stakeholders to align project outcomes with the company's priorities
- Help drive process improvement initiatives sought by leadership and colleagues
The experience you'll bring. - A U.S. law degree, with admission to at least one state bar in good standing
- Minimum 3-5 years of experience w orking as an attorney in a corporate environment or law firm
- Minimum 3-5 years of experience structuring and drafting technical and commercial transactions
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint
- Exceptional organizational, analytical and communication skills, with a proven ability to collaborate effectively across teams
- Strong business and legal savvy, with the ability to identify risks, think strategically and develop innovative solutions in ambiguous or incomplete scenarios
- Client-focused attitude, comfortable working under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Keen interest in technology and telecom, with a desire to develop broad expertise in T-Mobile's wireless products and services
- A self-starter, and proactive and solutions-oriented, taking ownership of performance and continuously seeking improvements and results beyond "good enough"
- Fully committed to team and company success, recognizing that collective achievements benefit all stakeholders
Preferred Qualifications - Experience working at a technology or wireless company, or in a law firm supporting such entities, with a focus on commercial matters related to purchasing, sourcing and professional services
- Background in industries involving manufacturing (OEMs/ODMs), supply chain, logistics, transportation/courier services, device insurance and/or large-scale retail operations
- Sound understanding of technology, hardware, wireless/telecom (or other regulated industries), privacy and risk management
- Military experience is highly valued and encouraged
