In this role: YOU WILL - Extend offers to new substitutes and guide them through onboarding and associated communication, which may include everything from training follow-up and supporting staff with their first on-site days at camp.
- Be the voice of Galileo to candidates and staff . You will exemplify the special Galileo brand of candidate care, while skillfully and warmly delivering top-notch service to all team-members via email and phone.
- Create weekly schedules and dispatch subs daily to camp programs in your region. You will review incoming needs and communicate coverage plans to Camp Directors.
- Support substitute staffers through their summer experience. When Camp is in session you will be the leader of your sub pool and the caretaker of their camp experience. This means responding to their questions, checking in on them throughout the summer and soliciting their feedback. YOU ARE

- This is a Part Time, Seasonal, hourly, non-exempt role. We anticipate the compensation for this position to be $18-$19 per hour. Your exact compensation will be based on a variety of factors including geography and professional experience.

Location possible in following states: Washington, California, Colorado, Illinois, Virginia, District of Columbia, Maryland. Potential to work from Galileo Learning Headquarters, 1021 Third Street, Oakland, CA 94607 for local hires. SCHEDULE & TIME COMMITMENT
- May 15th - August 30th
- May - Jun: 30 hrs/week
- June 12 - August 30: 20-40 hrs/week

- Constantly communicate in-person, virtually, and from a range of distancesQualificationsYOU HAVE
- Bachelor's degree preferred, but not required
- Experience working in summer camps, education or similar organizations is a plus!
- 1-2 years experience in an administrative role preferred, but not required
- 1-2 years experience in a customer service role preferred, but not required
- Demonstrated experience with the Microsoft Suite and Google Suite
- Ability to pick up new processes quickly
- Inclusive mindset, with a deep commitment to supporting diverse learning environments
- Skill at and experience with soliciting and implementing feedback to improve performance
