• Collects and prepares product samples for microbiological analysis.
• Documents sample ID and microorganism growth results.
• Promptly communicates findings that fall outside allowable limits.
• Responsible for inventory of micro lab supplies.
• Stores and maintains retention samples.
• Reconciliation of daily micro log with the inventory system to ensure all production samples are plated.
• Manage positive release of product in inventory system.
• Samples purchased products (micro-testing and grading).
• Other duties assigned by department management.Typical EducationHigh school diploma or general education degree (GED)Relevant Experience1+ years related experience and/or trainingOther Information
  • Basic math skills
