• Follow safe work policies and practices to ensure no injury to self or others.
• Must follow the good manufacturing practices and policies
• Ensures equipment in assigned areas of unit operations are monitored and maintained.
• Document retention for COAs and other product receiving paperwork
• Verifies that COA matches required specifications
• Verifies that product matches COAs upon receipt
• Samples purchased products (micro-testing and grading)
• Promptly communicates findings that fall outside allowable limits
• Put product on hold as necessary
• Understanding of HACCP program
• Understanding of FSMA program
• Other duties assigned by department managementTypical Education
  • High School diploma or equivalentOther Information
    • Basic math skills
    • Good knowledge of computer systems and calculator
    • Ability to work in a refrigerated and frozen environments
    • Good communication skills
    • Needs to be organized, efficient, and have good time management skills.
    • Ability to sit and stand for long periods
    • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
