External applicants only. We are seeking a part or full time independent, self-motivated, and compassionate Occupational Therapist with experience or interest in Lymphedema therapy. The Therapist will be working with a wonderful team of experienced and passionate lymphedema therapists who are focused on treating complicated lymphedema/ edema issues. The outpatient therapy clinic has private treatments rooms for each therapist within a MultiCare comprehensive cancer center. Our team has a strong referral base and coordinates care with other facilities such as SCCA, Virginia Mason and Fred Hutch. Lymphedema trainings offered to employed therapists. FTE: 1.0, Shift: Day, Schedule: Monday - Friday; 8:00am - 5:00pmPosition SummaryThe Occupational Therapist is an exciting opportunity at MultiCare, responsible for evaluating, planning and implementing occupational therapy services for in-patients and outpatients referred for Occupational Therapy. With varied and dynamic day-to-day functions, you will apply your service orientation, analysis and good judgment toward ensuring comprehensive occupational therapy care for patients. Responsibilities - You will perform well in stress and emergency situations
- You will perform patient evaluations/re-evaluations, establish a treatment plan, and modify the treatment plan according to the needs of the patient and response to treatment
- You will perform treatment interventions for outpatient and/or inpatient population as directed
- You will perform documentation in the medical record that is timely and accurate
- You will communicate well with patients, peers, other health professionals in the coordination of care for the patients Requirements
- State of Washington Occupational Therapist license
