Perdue also offers a 401(k) savings plan with company match.$3,000 RetentionPayout:$600 30 days$600 60 days$600 90 days$1,200 6 monthsPrincipal and Essential Duties & ResponsibilitiesPerform duties in all areas of the hatchery as assigned:Tray eggs from farm racks or cases into incubator racksLoad incubators according to scheduleClean and disinfect incubators, hatchers, egg room, processing room, and hatchery equipmentTransfer eggs from incubators to Hatcher trays as part of the Transfer Team following SOPsAssist in all chick processing functionsMonitor machines and equipment for proper operation and document findings. Make adjustments as necessary or informsupervisor when machine or equipment performance is deficientPerform minor maintenance duties as requiredObserve all company personnel, safety, quality,and food safety policiesMust not have exposure to poultry or birds outside of workAdhere to all safety rules including PPE, preventing and reporting unsafe acts and conditions, Lockout-Tagout procedures and Process Safety Management related mattersAll other duties as assignedExperience RequirementsAbility to work independentlyGood mechanical abilitiesAbility to adapt and learn various positions and proceduresEnvironmental Factors and Physicals Requirements Ability to lift egg cases weighing up to 50 poundsExposed to temperatures ranging from 60 - 105 degreesHumidity up to 100%Work in a wet, damp, dusty (chick down) environmentExposureto chemicalsand vaccines used in a Hatchery ProcessMust wear and useprotective and safety equipment as required for the job as directed by companyPerdue Farms, Inc. is an Equal Opportunity / Affirmative Action employer.
