The HIM Operations Lead is responsible for organizing day to day operations of the HIM Department. This role assists with daily work assignments, task delegation, staffing and other operational tasks. - The Operations Lead is the initial point of contact for HIM employees during the work day and guides the team to ensure all tasks are completed within the priority timelines. Salary Range: $23.43 - $32.81 *This is designated as a safety-sensitive position* EDUCATION Education: College-level knowledge of medical record and health information procedures acquired through attainment of an associate's degree in health information management - OR - 3 or more years of direct HIM experience in a hospital setting may be substituted in lieu of degree. Experience: Previous hospital health information experience with progressive responsibilities preferred. - Previous supervisory experience preferred. Certification: None required. RHIA or RHIT preferred.
