Provide direct and comprehensive nursing care to patients in the surgical unit. Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to facilitate the continuity of patient care. Implement patient care plans and monitor outcomes, adjusting strategies as necessary to ensure optimal recovery. Educate patients and their families on surgical processes, post-operative care, and health maintenance. Maintain accurate patient records and adhere to all safety and compliance standards. Participate in professional development and continuous education opportunities to keep abreast of advancements in surgical nursing. Proven ability to perform in fast-paced, surgical environments. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Strong organizational and critical-thinking skills. Proficient in using electronic health record (EHR) systems.
