Job Description Looking for a Board Certified/Board Eligible Gastroenterologist to join a turnkey practice with an experienced team of providers! Our NPs have 10 years of GI experience. Jesse Houghton, MD, FACG, has been rooted in the community since 2012! Will be busy immediately! Call is light. Compensation & Benefits Sign-On Bonus: Up to $100,000 Medical School Loan Repayment: Up to $200,000 Competitive base salary with additional pay-for-call (CERP) Comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, vision, and retirement Paid malpractice insurance with tail coverage CME allowance and paid time off Relocation assistance Stable, hospital-employed position with a collaborative and supportive team Practice Location Single practice location at SOMC Gastroenterology Associates located in Portsmouth, OH Hospital Endoscopy Suite is a 2 minute walk from office location Office Hours/Work Schedule Clinical office is open M-TH 8:00 a.m. – 5:00p.m., Friday 8:00 a.m.-12:00 p.m. Staffing 1 physician, 2 NPs 1 Service Line Manager 1 Office Manager 2 LPNs 3 MOAs Call Schedule Call is light Can take call from home, rarely need to come in for emergent cases Pay for call program Case Load 10-15 procedures per day in Endo Suite 30 patients per day in clinical office Equipment Olympus scopes and video equipment, everything is monitored New Provation Medical Documentation System (electronic medical record, sends orders to office, post op notes dictated and printed, consults to other physicians - helps with coding and billing). The Provation system does interface with the Olympus system.
