Pay Information $2,283 per week About The Position Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: RN Specialty: Cardio ICU Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 12-hour Day/Night Rotation Hours per Shift: 36 Experience: 2 years of recent dedicated Cardiac ICU/CCU/CVICU experience is required. License: VA RN License/Compact License Certifications: BLS, ACLS Must-Have: Recent experience/competency in VV/VA ECMO, IABP (Intra Aortic Balloon Pumps), TTM/Arctic Sun, Impella, CRRT, PA Catheter Guided Therapy. Strong experience in all advanced therapy modalities. Ability to read and interpret EKG rhythm strips. Experience in managing and titrating Cardiac/Vasoactive Drips. Description: Common types of patients include Cardiogenic Shock, STEMI, Cardiac arrest, Advanced HF Management, Cardiac Arrhythmia, Lysis, Post IR/PCI Procedures, and TEVAR. This is a day/night shift position. Every other weekend is required. One major winter holiday is required (Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Year's). A holiday includes the day before, day of, and day after the designated holidays. Floating to other ICUs including Stepdown/Progressive Care/IMC/Tele Units may be required. The unit comprises 24 beds with ratios of 1:1 or 1:2, and Stepdown is 1:3. EMR used is Epic. Dress code includes navy blue pants and solid navy blue tops or solid white jackets.
