Our facilities in the beautiful town of Altavista, VA, offer a great working environment and community. Job Details Key Responsibilities: Engineer mature products as assigned. Participate in new product development programs. Manage new products to AQP (Advanced Quality Planning) goals and disciplines (e.g., APQP, FMEAs). Develop new product designs and drafting to meet growth objectives. Conduct and coordinate product reliability testing to meet industry standards. Evaluate new products and components to ensure design requirements are met. Assist in establishing material specifications and requirements. Assist in marketing and quality control with customer contact. Work with customers to initiate new products. Provide design and development support. Required Skills and Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field. Minimum of 3 years of experience in product or system development. Proficiency in 3D SolidWorks and 2D drafting. Experience in design, development, validation testing, and production launch of new innovative products. Ability to design and develop test stands and fixtures. Strong technical writing skills for specifications and reports. Understanding of quality systems and statistics.
