The ideal candidate will have a strong analytical mindset, excellent communication skills, and a keen understanding of business operations.Principal and Essential Duties & ResponsibilitiesMajor Requests:Ad hoc P&Ls, sales reporting, product cost reporting requests from sales, marketing, or trade.New product development costing and P&Ls.Preparation of other reports as requested.Performance Reporting:Generate and distribute regular financial performance reports to key stakeholders within the Commercial Team.Present financial results and insights in a clear and concise manner to facilitate decision-making processes.Financial Modeling:Develop and maintain financial models to analyze various business scenarios and assess their impact on financial performance.Assist in evaluating the financial feasibility of new business initiatives and projects.Cross-Functional Collaboration:Collaborate with other departments, including Sales, Marketing, and Operations, to gather relevant information and ensure alignment of financial plans with overall business objectives.Minimum Education and ExperienceRequired: Bachelor s degree in finance/accounting. 3-5 years of relevant experience, Food Products or Consumer Packaged Goods Experience a plus.Experience Preferred5 years prior financial experience, preferably in the Food Products (poultry / protein) or Consumer Packaged Goods industry.
