Job Description ** This position can be based out of either Sterling, VA, or Rockville, MD, and is eligible for maximum telework (> 50%). **This BAE Systems program supports a federal customer who plays a key role in providing direct cybersecurity engineering support. The program provides systems and security engineering and integration support to specific government-sponsored projects, pilots, and prototypes (this includes solution planning and engineering, defining security requirements, target architecture, interoperability and integration, system testing, verification and validation, modeling and simulation, studies and analysis, post-deployment security validation, and project risk management). Program staff support the engineering of current and emerging cybersecurity systems, policies, and processes to enforce standards, identify vulnerabilities and capability gaps, and reduce the cybersecurity risk of our customer's networks.The Junior Project/Business Analyst reports to the Program Operations Lead and performs tasks related to both contract staffing and the procurement of customer software, hardware, and other items. Duties involve maintaining several spreadsheets; tracking and maintaining financial information; and communicating and coordinating with various subcontractor, corporate, and program staff members (including customer personnel and incoming hires). The position requires the ability to think independently, demonstrate initiative and analytical thinking, and anticipate the needs of others. Strong organizational and communication skills, exceptional attention to detail, and the ability to multi-task are critical. This position will involve gradually taking on additional responsibility.Required Education, Experience, & Skills

  • Bachelor's degree and 2+ years of professional experience, or 6+ years of professional experience

    • Basic understanding of software licensingPay InformationFull-Time Salary Range: $64130 - $109010Please note: This range is based on our market pay structures. However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
