* Strong leadership and communication skills to work effectively with cross-functional team and convey technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
* Experience managing a team of technical resources and leveraging strengths to meet expected/desired outcomes
* Robust understanding of network design and ability to configure network infrastructure for OT infrastructure
* Advanced knowledge of network security protocols and technologies, such as IPsec, SSL/TLS, VPNs, VLANs, SD-WAN, and firewalls
* Experience setting up routers, switches, firewalls, and other network components for IT systems--- Proficiency in creating and managing network ACLs to control traffic flow and enforce security policies and have a thorough understanding of industry-specific security compliance standards like RMF and NIST
* Ability to implement configure and mange virtual private networks (VPNs) for remote access and use
* Skilled in configuring, managing, and maintaining firewall appliances like Cisco ASA and Palo Alto, and ensuring proper rule sets for network security appliancesThey should also have a good understanding of network access control mechanisms such as 802.1X, NAC, and TACACS/RADIUS authentication
