This fundamental role offers;

- The opportunity to assist with company wide improvements to avoid future appeal scenarios

-Research and compile all necessary documentation as it relates to individual appeal cases

-Provide verification for medical policies and contractual benefits as they relate to particular case.

-Audit work of appeals specialists

-Compose factual accounts for each case and present compelling documentation

-Handle all appeal cases in a timely and efficient manner while maintaining professional demeanor

-Provide guidance to appeals specialists on difficult cases and approving all determinations

-Generate specialized reports and performing appeals analysis.



Requirements for this role include;

-BA/BS in relevant field or equivalent experience

-At least 5 years of experience working with appeals/claims

-Strong written and verbal communication skills

-Experience in medical and health insurance environment

-Ability to work both independently and to be the leader in a team setting

-Previous role as an RN a plus
