Learn from the best while helping our patients during their recovery process. +++We need someone with relevant clinical experience as a Cardiac or Pulmonary Exercise Physiologist or clinical experience from an educational program focused on Cardiac or Pulmonary Rehab. +++
The Exercise Physiologist 1 works on a multidisciplinary team to care for patients and develop comprehensive care plans of agreed-upon goals. Administers or supports diagnostics testing to support diagnosis and treatment plans and participates in a community effort to support chronic disease management. May include evaluating patient responses to prescribed treatment plans, testing, and procedures and developing ongoing plans.Job Responsibilities:

• Develops exercise prescription and risk factor modification by incorporating comorbidity and musculoskeletal disorders, per established program (ACCVPR, ACSM, ATS, ACC, NASM) standards and guidelines, as evidenced by random chart review.
  
• Reviews Individual Treatment Plans.
  
• Develops exercise and strength training programs, patient education, and behavioral health support specific to each patient to achieve optimal outcomes for each patient.
  
• Demonstrates proper instruction and technique for performing appropriate exercise and strength training as needed to ensure patient safety and adherence to exercise prescription, as evidenced by direct observation.
  
• Immediately reports significant changes in patient clinical status to appropriate members of the healthcare team and assists with emergency care according to department policy, as evidenced by direct observation.
  
• May perform additional duties as assigned.
