Night Shift CNA/DCA/PCA 10:45 pm - 7:15 am. Our amazing family-owned company is seeking friendly, team-oriented, and empathetic healthcare professionals with a passion for helping others in a direct-care role as a Certified Nursing Assistant or Direct Care Aid. As the primary caregiver, you will assist patients with varied levels of mobility with getting dressed, going to the restroom, hygiene care, eating daily meals, and other activities of daily living.

Compensation- $15.50 hourly +--$2 hour shift differential

Responsibilities:

--- Assist patients with regular exercise as needed to maintain physical health and mobility level
--- Sanitize and clean patient's room by rotating sheets, bedpans, and performing general room cleaning
--- Give patient support with basic care daily living activities bathing, getting dressed, going to the restroom, eating regular meals, and taking proper medication dosages
--- Communicate information with patient care providers and other nursing staff members to facilitate patient care
--- Record patient vital signs including temperature, blood pressure, pulse, and blood oxygen level


Qualifications:

--- A high school diploma or equivalent (GED) is required for this position
--- Excellent communication skills that focus on creating and maintaining positive relationships between patient and families
--- Knowledgeable in record keeping through a computerized database to maintain patient history
--- Previous experience handling bedridden patients with age-related diseases such as Alzheimer's and Dementia preferred
--- Capable of administering catheters and enemas, preferred, but not required
--- Be a team player and get along with others
--- Ability to take direction from supervisor in charge and show emotional intelligence
