This role is pivotal in ensuring the accurate and timely delivery of our food products to a broad spectrum of customers, from cozy family-owned eateries to expansive nationwide chains. As a key player in our warehouse operations, you will be part of a team dedicated to upholding the quality and efficiency that Performance Foodservice is known for. Navigate the warehouse layout to locate products using technology and manual systems. Accurately pick orders according to the manifest, ensuring correct item, size, and batch number. Pack, label, and arrange products for shipment, adhering to all safety and handling protocols. Operate warehouse machinery such as forklifts and pallet jacks following all safety guidelines. Participate in inventory counts and assist in managing inventory accuracy. Maintain a clean and safe work environment, complying with OSHA and other applicable standards. Collaborate with other team members and contribute to achieving daily production goals. Ability to operate forklifts and pallet jacks skillfully and safely. Proficient in using warehousing management software. Strong attention to detail and accuracy in order management. Effective communication skills for coordination with other team members. Physical stamina and strength required to lift up to 50 pounds and remain standing or walking for extensive periods.
