Unit Description: The Nurse Clinician - Wound Care is responsible for the clinical coordination of care related to a specific group of patients or aspect of patient care. This clinician is engaged in bedside consultation, assessment and follow up care for patients with pressure injuries/wounds/ostomies in the inpatient setting. -A collaborative team member that applies specialized knowledge through direct care, teaching, consultation, research and guidance of other nursing personnel and other members of the health care team. -The nurse clinician is also involved in practice and policy development, committee work, data monitoring and nursing/staff education as needed. Coordination of care extends across the University of Vermont Medical Center and to the outside community.

• State of Vermont Registered Nurse (RN) license required. BSN Required. Master's degree preferred. -WOCN certification preferred. -Other applicable certifications will be considered. -
• Minimum of 3 years relevant RN clinical experience in specialty area.
