  • UT license
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in Mammography with documentation of clinical experience, digital and 3D
  • Outpatient work setting experience
  • Graduation from high school or equivalent and completion of a training program in imaging technology from an accredited school
  • Ability to read, write, and comprehend medical terminology
  • Ability to stand for long periods of time
  • BLS
  • Completion of a formal radiologic technology training program and hold current certification by ARRT in Radiography
  • ARRT advanced level certification in mammography with documentation of clinical experience, or MQSA qualified and (M) registry eligible
  • Experience with diagnostic procedures such as ultrasound core and stereotactic biopsies is preferred
  • Knowledge of database software, RIS/PACS software and eRad is preferred
  • Prior quality control experience preferredOther Details:Floating requiredShift: Monday - Friday 7:30a - 4:00pm (4-5 shifts a week)The Mammography Technologist operates x-ray equipment and performs a variety of mammography-related diagnostic procedures. Individual must maintain a high degree of accuracy in positioning and exposure technique.
