Description Great Day Shift Part Time Employment Opportunity AvaiableWork schedules in our Wound Care clinic are 8 hour or 10 hour shifts. -Clinic is only open Monday - Friday, 830 AM - 5:30 PM. You will provide quality individualized preventive, supportive wound care to each patient. You will be joining a collaborative team that values extraordinary patient care and dedication to one another. In this role: - You will serve as a clinical resource for the nursing staff and health care providers to assist with planning strategy of would care either pre- or postoperatively or ongoing.
- You will report and document in the health record accepted format including; observations, facts, assessments, plan of care, care given and outcomes of the patients care; patient classification and acuity; and other data relevant to the patient care in an appropriate and timely manner. .
- You will be responsible to include direct nursing intervention provided to a variety of age populations and diagnostic categories, based on the physician developed plan of care and established priorities for wound care issues. -
- You will coordinate activities that promote quality outcomes and patient throughput while supporting a balance of optimal care and appropriate resource utilization.
- You will identify potential cause(s) of delayed wound healing.
- You will review medication and provides patient education, pain medication administration per physician order, accurately assess the pain levels and effects of administered pain medications.
