Pay Information $2,366 per week About The Position Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Case Manager Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 8 Experience: Minimum of 2 years in Case Management and Discharge Planning License: Compact or Louisiana license required upon submission Certifications: BLS required. Must-Have: Experience in case management and discharge planning. Home health experience preferred. Must be comfortable handling a patient workload of 20 or more. Description: Please ensure you are aware of the following: This position is in a commonly impacted area for hurricanes. The hurricane season will run from June 1 to November 30; however, storms may occur outside of this window. Upon accepting an assignment and starting your role, you may be assigned to an emergency team. There will be an expectation to remain on-site until after the storm passes or to participate in the relief team. Specific pay details during storms will be provided as impacts vary. By signing your travel contract, you agree to report as assigned by your immediate unit manager if a storm occurs. You should not apply during the hurricane window if you are not comfortable with these expectations. This position requires a five-day workweek consisting of 8-hour shifts. Weekend shifts may be required as needed. Experienced candidates will be considered for their first travel assignment. You will collaborate on discharge planning and patient throughput management. You may be asked to work at other campuses as needed and will receive a float schedule in advance. Weekend expectations include working three weekends during the 12 weeks. References are not required for submission but will be needed before starting the contract. Certifications must be current and submitted with your profile.
