A plastic packaging manufacturer near the Monee, IL area is seeking a Document Control Processor to support their quality and operations departments. The ideal candidate will be familiar with food quality standards in an industrial manufacturing setting, with strong organizational skills and a positive, team-oriented mindset. Working hours for this role are 8:00am – 4:30pm, Monday through Friday. This is a full-time, permanent, direct-hire role including a full benefits package (health/dental/vision/life/disability insurances, 401k with employer matching, PTO, employee assistance program), with starting compensation set at $18/hour. Responsibilities: Collect and distribute food safety and quality documentation to relevant internal and external parties, including individual customer requirements Develop and maintain a physical filing system and digital database for documentation Organize and manage filing area, ensuring that all documents are easily findable and accessible for relevant parties Oversee compilation of paperwork for internal document reviews, inspections, and audits Keep all paperwork updated per procedure, including training materials Assist in scheduling for audits, inspections, and employee training sessions Other duties as assigned Requirements: High school diploma or GED Strong skills with Microsoft products (Word, Excel, Outlook) Familiarity with food quality standards, including SQF (Safe Quality Food) and HACCP (Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Points) standards Strong organizational skills and good documentation practice Familiarity with the manufacturing process, from raw material to finished product Ability to attend additional company trainings as required Activ8 Recruitment & Solutions / Renaissance Resources Inc., has been one of the leading recruiting firms in North America when it comes to working with Japanese Businesses for more than 25 years.
