In this role, you will provide top-tier respiratory care services in our inpatient rehabilitation hospitals. This position requires flexibility in scheduling and a commitment to patient care that aligns with the high standards of service excellence at our facilities. Our respiratory therapists play a crucial role in the recovery and health management of patients with a variety of pulmonary disorders and conditions. Evaluate patient lung capacity and devise customized care plans Operate and maintain respiratory equipment such as ventilators, oxygen supplies, and other breathing equipment Conduct pulmonary function tests and interpret results Teach patients and their families on lung health and maintenance routines Collaborate with healthcare teams to facilitate comprehensive patient care Respond to emergency resuscitation calls and other urgent calls for care Maintain patient records and prepare clinical reports Proficiency in using ventilators, oxygen tanks, and other respiratory equipment Ability to perform and interpret pulmonary function tests Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Excellent interpersonal and communication skills Ability to work independently or in a team-based setting Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance 401k Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT) or Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) Active state license as a respiratory care practitioner BLS and ACLS certification More...
