Job Description Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Compounding Staff Pharmacist role located in Frisco, TX. The Staff Pharmacist will be responsible for preparing and dispensing medications, ensuring accurate and safe prescriptions, counseling patients on proper medication use, and managing inventory of pharmaceuticals. Additional responsibilities include maintaining compliance with regulatory standards, collaborating with healthcare providers, and providing excellent customer service to patients. The role also requires participation in quality assurance and continuous improvement activities within the pharmacy. Qualifications Strong knowledge and experience in prescription preparation, compounding, and medication dispensing Comprehensive understanding of regulatory compliance and guidelines for pharmaceutical practice Skills in patient counseling, communication, and providing exceptional customer care Proficiency in inventory management and pharmacy software systems Ability to collaborate effectively with healthcare professionals and team members Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving and organizational skills Must have a Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree or equivalent and a valid pharmacist license in the State of Texas Experience in compounding pharmacy is highly desirable but not required More...
