Touchstone Communities is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) who is ready to step up into a leadership role as the Assistant Director of Nursing. This position plays a pivotal role in providing expert care and administrative leadership within our senior living and long-term care facilities in Texas. Our ideal candidate will oversee clinical operations under the direction of the Director of Nursing and ensure compliance with all regulations while fostering an atmosphere of compassion, responsiveness, and integrity. Assist in the recruitment, training, and management of nursing staff. Monitor patient care to ensure compliance with quality standards and legal requirements. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to create personalized care plans. Implement new policies and update existing policies to improve the quality of care. Monitor compliance with healthcare regulations and participate in quality assurance activities. Report regularly to the Director of Nursing about the nursing department’s performance. Assist in budget preparation and ensure resources are used efficiently.
