This role focuses on the safe and efficient transportation of hazardous materials, ensuring that both environmental protocols and customer needs are met with the highest standard of professionalism. Operate various vehicles for the transportation of hazardous waste materials, ensuring compliance with all governmental and company regulations. Perform pre- and post-trip inspections of equipment, reporting any issues or maintenance needs immediately. Manage loading and unloading of materials, ensuring their safety and integrity while adhering to all safety protocols. Maintain accurate documentation and logs for all transportation activities, including waste tracking, DOT logs, and safety records. Participate in job-related training and emergency response drills, staying updated with new regulatory and company requirements. Communicate effectively with team members and clients, ensuring clear understanding of schedule and tasks.
