At Capital One, you'll be part of a big group of makers, breakers, doers and disruptors, who love to solve real problems and meet real customer needs. - We are seeking a ServiceNow Software Engineering leader who is passionate about converging data with emerging technologies. -As a Director of Software Engineering for ServiceNow, you'll have the opportunity to be on the forefront of driving a major transformation within the Capital One ServiceNow Platform. You will be part of the Cloud Operations Resilience Engineering (CORE) Technology division which is responsible for enabling and evolving Capital One's foundational cloud infrastructure layer, including observability, connectivity, resilience and availability. -What You'll Do: - - Lead a portfolio of diverse technology projects and a team of developers with deep experience in ServiceNow Platform, Workflow development for various modules such as IT Asset Management (ITAM), IT Service Management (ITSM), IT Risk Management (ITRM) and IT Operations Management (ITOM) to create solutions that help meet asset management needs for the company
- Lead, manage, and grow multiple teams of product focused software engineers
- Mentor and guide the professional and technical development of engineers on your team.
- Work with product managers to understand desired application capabilities and testing scenarios
- Continuously improve software engineering practices
- Work within and across Agile teams to design, develop, test, implement, and support technical solutions across a full-stack development tools and technologies
- Lead the craftsmanship, availability, resilience, and scalability of your solutions
- Bring a passion to stay on top of tech trends, experiment with and learn new technologies, participate in internal & external technology communities, and mentor other members of the engineering community
- Encourage innovation, implementation of cutting-edge technologies, inclusion, outside-of-the-box thinking, teamwork, self-organization, and diversity
- Work across to improve the velocity of your and other teamsBasic Qualifications: -
- Bachelor's Degree
- At least 7 years' experience in software development
- At least 5 years' experience with ServiceNow Platform, Development and Operations
- At least 5 years' experience in people managementPreferred Qualifications: -
