As a Platform Engineer, you'll have the opportunity to be on the forefront of driving a major transformation within Capital One.What You'll Do:

• Work with product owners to understand desired application capabilities and testing scenarios
• Continuously improve software engineering practices
• Work within and across Agile teams to design, develop, test, implement and support technical solutions across a full-stack of development tools and technologies
• Lead the craftsmanship, availability, resilience and scalability of your solutions
• Bring a passion to stay on top of tech trends, experiment with and learn new technologies, participate in internal & external technology communities, and mentor other members of the engineering community
• Encourage innovation, implementation of cutting-edge technologies, inclusion, outside-of-the-box thinking, teamwork, self-organization and diversityBasic Qualifications:
  • High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent certification
  • At least 5 years of experience in troubleshooting and configuration of video management systems
  • At least 5 years of experience with video analytics
  • At least 5 years of experience with installation and troubleshooting access of control systemsPreferred Qualifications:
    • 6+ - years of experience in troubleshooting and configuration of video management systems (Lenel Onguard, Genetec, Briefcam, Mastermind, Verint OpCenter, Verint Video Inspector)
    • 6+ years of experience with security applications (DMP RemoteLink, DMP Entre, XpressEntry, or KeyTracer)
    • 6+ years of experience with installation and troubleshooting of electronic devices (access control panels, doors controllers, intrusion alarms and their accessories)
    • Lenel Certifications
    • 1+ years of experience with analog POTS lines
