Our collaborative team is looking for a highly motivated Product Marketing Manager to drive the go-to-market strategy and value proposition for our product portfolio and ensure our solutions resonate with our customers.We are seeking a strategic and results-driven Product Marketing Manager to own the marketing initiatives for our Grid Management suite of products. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing and executing comprehensive product marketing strategies that drive awareness, demand, and adoption of our products. You will work closely with cross-functional teams including Product, Sales, and Customer Success to ensure successful product launches and consistent messaging across all touchpoints.Duties and Responsibilities: - Go-to-Market Strategy: Develop and execute go-to-market plans for new product launches and product updates, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
- Market Research & Insights: Conduct competitive analysis, market research, and customer segmentation to understand market needs and inform product positioning.
- Product Positioning & Messaging: Craft compelling product messaging and positioning that clearly communicate the product's unique value proposition.
- Sales Enablement: Create sales collateral, product training materials, and other resources to equip the sales team with the tools they need to sell effectively.
- Business value and return on investment calculation: The role includes the calculation of customer ROI by analyzing key metrics, such as cost savings, revenue efficiency, and productivity improvements that result from distributed intelligence products. This analysis provides tangible evidence of the value customers receive from Itron's DI solutions.
- Communication of ROI: customer-ready customer ROI to internal and external stakeholders to reinforce the product's value and to adjust marketing strategies. This ensures that marketing efforts are aligned with the actual benefits experienced by customers.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with Product, Sales, and Customer Success teams to ensure the product's features and benefits are communicated effectively and consistently.
- Campaign Development: Develop and execute marketing campaigns to generate demand and support the sales pipeline, working closely with the digital marketing and creative teams.
- Content Creation: Develop and refine content for various marketing channels, including blogs, case studies, whitepapers, social media, and website copy.
- Customer Advocacy: Collaborate with internal and Customer to leverage customer feedback, realized value, and success stories to create testimonials and case studies. These materials serve as powerful evidence of the product's value and are used in marketing efforts..
- Performance Tracking & Reporting: Measure and report on the effectiveness of product marketing initiatives, using data to optimize strategies and improve ROI. Specifically, you will track and calculate customer ROI to demonstrate the tangible value of our products.
- Work with Customer Success and Sales teams to gather data on product usage, value, customer satisfaction, and business outcomes.
- Validate customer ROI by analyzing key metrics, including cost savings, revenue growth, and productivity improvements that result from using our products.
- Present ROI findings to internal stakeholders to reinforce product value and adjust marketing strategies accordingly.Required Skills & Experience:
- MBA or degree in Engineering
- Minimum of 10 years of experience as a business analyst or consultant
- Strong understanding of product lifecycle management and go-to-market strategies.
- Experience in calculating and analyzing customer ROI, understanding financial metrics, and presenting insights to drive business decisions.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to simplify complex technical concepts.
- Ability to think strategically and execute tactically.
- Experience creating and managing customer-facing content and messaging.
- Proficiency with marketing automation tools and CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce).
