Plano Parkway, Plano, TX 75075 [hybrid position]DUTIES: Lead cross-functional teams including design, engineering, marketing, and manufacturing. Oversee the entire product development lifecycle from concept through design, testing, and production. Provide guidance and mentorship to junior engineers and team members. Drive innovation by developing new products and improving existing ones, considering customer needs and market trends. Design and prototype product concepts, including creating prototypes for testing and refinement. Utilize advanced technical skills to solve engineering challenges during development. Ensure products meet quality standards and regulatory requirements through testing and validation. Create and maintain detailed technical documentation for designs, specifications, and manufacturing processes. Collaborate with stakeholders to understand requirements and communicate progress. Incorporate feedback to refine product designs and functionalities. Continuously seek process improvements, adopting new technologies and methodologies. Stay informed about technological advancements and market competitors. Possess specialized knowledge in areas such as software development, mechanical engineering, electronics, materials science, or biomedical engineering, depending on the industry. Ensure projects are completed on time and within budget, meeting or exceeding stakeholder expectations. Utilize hands-on technical work, project management, and successful product launches experience. Work with relevant software tools and platforms, such as CAD for design engineers and programming languages for software engineers.MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS: - Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Software Engineering or Computer Science.
- At least 5 years of progressive post-baccalaureate experience in product development or related roles, including hands-on technical work, project management, and successful product launches.
- Experience with relevant software tools and platforms, CAD software, and programming languages.
