This includes planning, managing, and evaluating tasks and functions of Pharmacists and Pharmacy Technicians, including all aspects of patient care from a clinical perspective and from an ongoing organizational perspective. Additionally, this leader serves as the Residency Program Director (RPD) for the pharmacys PGY-1 Residency. As the RPD, the Manager is responsible for the continued development, oversight, and maintenance of the pharmacy residency program.Responsibilities: Serving as a preceptor for Pharmacy Residents and College of Pharmacy students Designing, managing, measuring, and improving the medication management system Ensuring quality outcomes through the coordination of performance-improvement activities Work closely with the informatics teams as on intermittent projects or continual optimization related to medication utilization Managing the pharmaceutical supply chain, to assure pharmacy has the necessary medications Ensuring compliance with regulatory and accreditation requirements (includes residency) Assist in the development and maintenance of a formulary approved by the medical staff Coordinates and works with P&T Chair on Pharmacy and Therapeutic meeting agenda, reports, and when necessary minutes Effectively administers performance evaluations for assigned pharmacistsQualifications & Requirements:Our ideal candidate will possess the heart of a servant leader and must be able to provide support and mentoring to the pharmacy clinical staff, and ensure your team is providing the highest level of safe, compassionate care to its patients.
