Position Summary Assist with preventative maintenance and repairs of gas and diesel equipment in our recently expanded maintenance facility. You will be tasked with repairs to heavy trucks, skid steers, small engines, Dry van and walking floor trailers. Essential Duties & Responsibilities Perform preventative maintenance/machine inspections Troubleshoot issues with gas & diesel engines Determine parts & tools necessary for mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical repairs Complete service paperwork Maintain a clean and safe work area Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities High school diploma or GED certificate 3 years minimum experience with heavy truck or diesel/heavy equipment repair Manual dexterity Welding experience (preferred, not required) Annual DOT experience (preferred, not required) Other Must be at least 18 years of age Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug test & background check Must be able to maintain satisfactory motor vehicle record Must be flexible regarding work hours, including the possibility of out-of-town work A typical workday is between 8-10-hours (Monday - Friday) Weekend over-time is available Physical Demands The physical demands described are representative of those that must be met by any employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
