Crafting the right network, with the right equipment and sof tware, requires a combination of te chn ical skill and careful planningThat's why we need you, an experienced network engineer who knows how to develop the exact network for Air Force needsAs a network engineer on our team, you'll use your experience in VMWare, vCenter, vSphere, Cisco routing and switching, PowerShell, Micro sof t Server, Linux, Unix, vendor agnostic firewall configurations, network design, architecture, and multi-protocol label switching to support the nation's defenseYou'll develop infrastructure, troubleshoot and resolve complex network issues, analyze working infrastructure, and increase security, reliability, and availability for mission-critical network systemsYou'll apply your expertise in routing, switching, encryption, network design and architecture, system interoperability, IP engineering, network transport layers, virtual routing, and switching as you join our team of problem-solvers to support Air Force defensive and offensive cyberspace operationsYour knowledge of network protocols, equipment, emerging te chn ology, and configurations will come in handy as you optimize client operations and modernizationUsing your experience in sof tware and hardware firewalls, Cisco devices, and virtual routing and forwarding, you'll serve as a t rus ted advisor to clients on mission-critical projectsUsing your te chn ical curiosity and knowledge of industry standards, you'll make an impact on national security missionsFurther your career with us as we help the Air Force by providing reliable and robust networks for exercises and experimentsJoin usThe world can't waitYou Have:--- Experience with VMWare, vCenter, or vSphere
* Experience with Cisco routing and switching
* Knowledge of PowerShell
* Ability to configure vendor agnostic firewalls--- TS/SCI clearance--- HS diploma or GED Nice If You Have:--- Experience with Vyos or Vyatta
* Knowledge of Ansible or Terraform
* Ability to leverage Docker or Kubernetes
