- Support all site capital projects from scope creation to go-live
- Work with site management and engineers to develop training programs for machine operators
- Build relationships with key OEMs for future training and automation opportunities
- Act as superuser and network resource of all equipment
- Demonstrate an understanding of and adhere to GXO's quality and environmental policies; maintain a safe and clean work environment and ensure accurate use of processes
- Ensure mechanical, plumbing, and electrical facility equipment is properly maintained in good, safe working order
- Perform and/or schedule preventive maintenance of facility equipment and repairs in a timely fashion
- Handle contractor services and bids for HVAC, janitorial, waste removal and recycling, PIT maintenance and repair, elevator inspections and repair, pest control, annual service forpreventive maintenance on scales, packaging machines and tech support for conveyorsWhat you need to succeed at GXO:At a minimum, you'll need:
- 5 years of relevant work experience
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent work or military experience
- Experience with Microsoft Office and computerized scanner equipment
- Availability to work a flexible schedule as needed, including planned and unplanned overtime, which may include weekendsIt'd be great if you also have:
