Responsibilities for this Curative Associate opportunity:



*Read and interpret title chains and legal descriptions, identify title discrepancies and have knowledge in clearing title discrepancies.



*Utilize strong written and verbal communication.



*Escalate issues that are not within your realm of knowledge. No month end time off will be approved unless it is a special circumstance. Available to work over time as needed.



*Read and interpret title chains and legal descriptions, identify title discrepancies and possesses knowledge to clear them.



*Order payoffs and subordinations, reviews divorce documents, probate documents, Power of Attorneys, Vesting Dees, Security Instruments, Surveys, etc.





Qualifications:



*Possesses the ability to work on a computer and in a paperless environment.



*Must be able to multi-task, read and send e-mails, receive and place calls to clear title.



*Prioritize daily duties to insure all duties are completed prior to leaving for the day.



*Comfortable in a National center-working all states in a high volume atmosphere.



*Effectively communicate with others and management as a team.



*Strong customer service orientation



*Detail orientated



*Excellent verbal communication



*Problem solving skills



*Strong organizational skills



*1-2 year prior curative experience - prior curative experience includes familiarity with how to read and make additional requirements based on probate, ordering liens releases, personally reviewing divorce documents and drawing up conveyance documents and releases, reviewing and updating titles in reference to surveys received, abstracts of title, examination documents and the like, among other things.



*Prior underwriting or lien clearance



*Prior experience with an origination that requires candidates to review titles and then send to outside title companies for the above functions would not be applicable.



*High School diploma or equivalent



*Mandatory over time is set by management.



*Available to work Saturdays 9:00am - 2:00pm - alternating Saturdays for lender coverage.



*Must be able to work M-F 12pm-9pm
