Are you passionate about technology and ready to make an impact? Technology Services is seeking a Windows Device Management Administrator I to be part of our dynamic team at Texas A&M University.
As a System Administrator I (Unified Windows Device Management) , you'll play a crucial role in providing administration for the unified Windows device management environment that manages Windows devices across Texas A&M Main campus and TAMU Health campuses statewide.
Here's a glimpse of what you'll do:
Provides technical guidance for endpoint management platform administration.
Set-ups and configures endpoint management platform servers; develops system logic and configuration; and conducts server performance analyses and tuning.
Troubleshoots complex endpoint technology problems.
Provides technical guidance on monitoring and maintaining endpoint security and for protecting and recovering data.
Creates, evaluates, and proposes plans for the implementation of new endpoint technology deployments and system integration testing.
Develops disaster recovery plans for complex systems.
Provides mentorship and coaching to student technicians and assists with professional development opportunities.
Participates in 4+ applicable IT training and professional development activities yearly, as approved by IT leadership.
Salary Range: Commensurate with education and experience.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience AND Two years of system administration experience.
A well-qualified candidate would also possess two years of experience managing or administering enterprise application deployments, security policies, configuration baselines, and endpoint privilege management. Experience with Root cause analysis, change management, and technical documentation. Experience in creating device collections, application deployments, and configuration baselines in Microsoft Endpoint Configuration Manager or Intune. Experience in scripting in Bash, PowerShell, etc. Experience in security compliance standards including NIST SP 800-53r5 and CIS Benchmarks.
