In partnership with the management team, the CNC monitors and evaluates nursing care in accordance with established policies. The CNC serves as a resource for staff and supports an unparalleled patient experience.

What you will do in this role:

• EDUCATION REQUIRED ADN PREFERRED: BSN or MSN - LICENSURE/CERTIFICATIONS REQUIRED: (Certifications must be kept current) RN licensure in Texas or compact state. BCLS PREFERRED: ACLS National Certification - EXPERIENCE REQUIRED: Two years clinical experience in Medical-Surgical nursing PREFERRED: One year of management experience Acute Care experience SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE, AND ABILITIES: Ability to develop a staff schedule, Critical thinking ability, Copes effectively with crisis and emergency situations, Communicates clearly and concisely. Encourages team-building efforts. Ability to listen, empathize and respond to patient, family, internal and external partner's needs. Bilingual English/Spanish preferred

  • Advanced Cardiac Life Spt must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
  • Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
  • Registered Nurse
  • Associate Degree, or Bachelors Degree, or Registered Nurse Diploma include emergency care, cardiac care, women's services, Level III NICU, rehabilitation, a "Good people beget good people."- Dr. Thomas Frist, Sr.
