Job Summary and Qualifications As a Cardiopulmonary Rehab (CPR) Respiratory Therapist (RT) you will possess advanced knowledge and skill in the area of pulmonary disease and rehab. You will be responsible for assisting the rehabilitation team with respiratory care of the pulmonary patient referral, from intake admission assessment, to the development of the pulmonary rehab treatment plan, exercise prescription and ongoing adjustments, outcome measurements, up through discharge. - You with evaluate and rehabilitate the pulmonary patient
- You will provide formal (scheduled) or informal (during exercise session) education to pulmonary patients and families as needed
- You will possess thorough and current knowledge of theory and practices of pulmonary care.
- You will maintain a flexible schedule and allow for flexibility in schedule around patients and department and partnership needs.
Job Qualifications Experience - 1-3 years of experience
- Minimum 2 year experience in clinical setting or 1-2 years in pulmonary rehab setting - preferred
Education * Graduate of American Medical Association approved Respiratory Therapy program Licenses and Certifications |
