This role requires a flexible and skilled nurse who can adapt to various departments such as emergency care, cardiology, orthopedics, birthing center, and surgical services. Our float nurses are essential to maintaining high-quality patient care during absences or periods of high patient volume. As an RN Float, you will be at the heart of our mission to provide comprehensive, top-quality healthcare, adapting swiftly to the needs of various units while maintaining the highest standards of safety and care. Provide high-quality nursing care in varying departments according to patient needs and acuity. Adapt to the unique protocols and standards of each unit while maintaining overall hospital policies. Monitor patient conditions and assess their needs to provide timely intervention. Administer medications and treatments accurately and safely. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to facilitate comprehensive patient care. Educate patients and their families on treatment plans and health management. Document all patient interactions accurately and comply with all legal requirements.
