Our hospital is renowned for its comprehensive emergency care, cardiology, orthopedics, and advanced diagnostics, and houses a specialized birthing center and modern surgical services. The NICU Nurse will play a vital role in providing specialized nursing care for newborn infants experiencing severe medical conditions requiring continuous monitoring and treatment. This position requires expertise in neonatal care, strong interpersonal skills, and a passion for improving the health outcomes of our youngest patients. Provide critical care to newborns suffering from conditions like prematurity, congenital defects, infection, cardiac malformations, and surgical problems. Assess, monitor, and administer medication and treatments to neonates as prescribed by neonatologists. Educate and support parents and families on neonatal care and treatment plans. Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare teams to formulate holistic care plans. Maintain records of patients' health, nursing care, and recovery progress.
