This position requires a focus on advanced cardiac care, where you will be responsible for monitoring patients with high acuity levels, post-surgery recovery, and those necessitating intensive therapeutic intervention. As a member of our progressive care team, you will work alongside recognized experts in fields such as cardiology and orthopedics, providing crucial continuous care and contributing to recovery phases of critically ill or highly unstable patients. Monitor vital signs and progress of patients in the Progressive Care Unit. Collaborate with healthcare professionals to plan, manage, and assess patient treatments. Administer and adjust medications based on patient conditions and responses. Educate patients and their families on disease processes, treatment, and home care preparations. Implement advanced life support and patient care protocols swiftly and accurately. Document patient care services by charting in patient and department records. Proficient in using cardiac monitoring technologies, patient care, and emergency response. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
